One of the rarest albums on the collectible Westwood label, Friends O' Mine is a 1972 album often listed under the name Friend's O' Mine but it's actually by the folk duo Hugh Trethowan and Mark Kjeldsen backed by Dave Lewry and Brian Murray.

The songs are self composed and ONLY 250 COPIES were pressed making it a tough one to find !

Dr Strangely Strange's album Kip of the Serenes is the original 1969 UK pressing with the pink Island label with the red ball.  This is a top-rated acid folk album - as is illustrated by the front cover showing the band sitting playing in a river with one member wearing a chicken-head mask, and the fantastic ship illustration on the reverse of the ship 'The Serene Boy' with lots of crazy characters even with a Rupert bear peering from the deck.

Small Faces' album Small Faces is the original UK mono issue from 1966 on the red 'unboxed' Decca label.  This was a big influence on the early Led Zeppelin albums.

Beatles' album Rubber Soul - this is the original UK stereo 1965 pressing with the black and yellow Parlophone labels with the £ sign.  It has the flip-back sleeve (see Gallery photos) and two matrixes - YEX 178 and YEX 179.  The inner sleeve is original. Has classic tracks such as 'Drive My Car', 'Nowhere Man', 'Michelle' and 'In My Life'.  Reverse sleeve has black/white photographs of the band.

Fairport Convention's album Liege & Lief is the original UK issue from 1969 on the pink Island label.  This album is often ranked as the best folk-rock album ever and a big influence on everything that came after.  The album has a gatefold sleeve with the inner gatefold showing lots of bizarre photographs - a photo of the grave of Thomas Thetcher with the lyrics of 'Down Among the Dead Men' underneath, Morris Dancers  with a description of Morris Dancing, a photo of the Padstow Hobby Horse plus description, and others.

Extremeley rare 1976 album by The Peak Folk issued on the collectible Folk Heritage label in a beautiful textured sleeve.

Folk Heritage never pressed albums in large quantities and most were sold by artists themselves at the folk clubs where they performed.

Very scarce 1974 album issued by Silver Birch, this six piece folk group from Grimsby.

Only 200 copies were pressed making it extremely difficult to find in ANY condition.

The group played a mix of contemporary and traditional including Fairport's 'Crazy Man Michael'.

Issued in 1983, 'Annual' is quite possibly THE best folk-rock album by Ragged Heroes and issued in the 80's.  Strongly influenced by Fairport's 'Leige and Leif' it features the Sandy Denny like vocals of Vikki Clayton who often appeared with Fairport singing the Sandy Denny parts at their annual cropready festival.

It is brilliant and it is rare.
