ELOs' album The Electric Light Orchestra was the first album by the initial members of Jeff Lynne, Roy Wood, and Bev Bevan.  Released in 1971, they aimed to pick up where the Beatles had left off with the pop and classical explorations on Eleanor Rigby.  Once called 'Sons of the Beatles' by John Lennon, ELO went on to an incredible career becoming successful in both the UK and USA.  But it did so without Roy Wood.  Leaving during or post-production of the second album, Roy went on to have his own success with Wizzard.  Famous for tracks like Mr Blue Sky, Telephone Line, Evil Woman the band were also one of the first to use an incredible laser show by Stephen Bickford on the Out of the Blue tour.  But this album is where it all began.  This copy also includes the almost impossible to find Lyrics insert, and has a superb Hipgnosis gatefold sleeve.

In retrospect, it's difficult to see why The Beatles took such a critical hammering for Magical Mystery Tour at the time.  It is quite simply brilliant and was ahead of what their contemporaries were doing.  Originally issued as a double EP back in the day, this later pressing gives the full LP experience and has the fabulous booklet and all the wonderful photographs - please do take time to browse the images of this item, it really is a thing of beauty.  Can you spot Ivor Cutler?

Bob Dylan's album 'Under The Red Sky' was released in 1990, and this version has the black inner sleeve with lyrics.  The album had a stellar supporting line-up with contributions from Slash, George Harrison, and Elton John.

An absolute must for the serious ABBA collector, this rare set is a thing of beauty.  Only available by ordering through Readers Digest, inside the hard outer box are five brightly coloured sleeves containing albums with all the hits - everything from Arrival-to-Waterloo.  Each album cover contains multiple photographs from formal photoshoots to concert images, and together they truly make up The Best of ABBA.  We've provided as many images as we can to try and do this justice and check the Track Listing tab for details of all the tracks.  But this definitely needs to be in the collection of a serious ABBA fan.
