Micheal Raven and Joan Mills made two superb folk albums as a duo and both are rare and expensive!  Their 'Death And The Lady' is rated by some as THE best folk album issued in the U.K.

On this scarce 1974 album 'The Jolly Machine', they are backed by the folk group Saga.

The title is deeply ironic, as the songs deal with the misery caused by 19th Century Industrialisation.
