Sweet will always be remembered as the glam popsters who blasted out blockbuster Ballroom Blitz etc on Top of the Pops in the early 70's.

But the band themselves wanted to be a serious hard rock band along the lines of Deep Purple.  Anyone who saw them live in the early 70's would have been convinced.

This album Give us a Wink from 1976 is a serious slice of hard rock and it features the hit single 'Action'

Amazingly the die cut 'Winking' sleeve is intact.  Most copies we see are wrecked/torn.
